I had already designed the main website for Asha Projects (www.ashaprojects.org.uk) and they asked me to create a new website for them that would concentrate solely on forced marriage. Asha Projects are a charity based in South London. The website was to provide information on and online resources for forced marriage. Asha needed to be able to update the whole website, upload resources and add news items. The website also needed to appeal to different ethnicities and cultures, and also both men and women.
For this project I worked in partnership with Popcorn who did the design. I created the website using the Drupal content management system so that Asha had full control over their website and Popcorn did an excellent design that made the website appeal to the target groups it was aimed at.
Asha were also able to add in agencies that people could contact if they needed help.
