Christians Abroad is a charity based in London enabling Christian volunteers to work abroad. They initially had their website designed by another company who had designed the website using the Joomla content management system. I have since taken over the support and development of the site.
Christians Abroad initially asked me to make several additions and upgrades to the site. This involved changing the whole structure of the website as well as updating the layout for the homepage and other pages. On the homepage they wanted a layout where people would be able to easily find information on the kind of opportunity they were looking for. I was able to do this by having different, clearly marked sections with a photo for each section.
As their website uses the Joomla content management system it allows them to easily update and add new content. They can add volunteer positions, news items and other updates to the site.
