Carers Register is an organisation providing a register of carers and jobs for elderly care, disability care and other types of home care. The website was built using Drupal and is optimised for viewing on mobile and handheld devices as well as on normal computer screens.
The website:
- Allows carers to register online and create profiles which can then be searched by employers
- Allows employers to advertise jobs for carers which can then be searched for online
- Enables agencies to advertise jobs which can then be searched for by carers
- Includes a user-friendly recurring payment system for carers, employers and agencies to be members of the site
- Has different tiers of membership
- Has an intelligent search system so that employers can find carers and carers can find care jobs easily, including searching by distance, job or profile type and many other criteria
- Allows users to save carer profiles or carer jobs to a favourites list for easy reference
- Includes the internal messaging system for employers, carers and agencies to communicate easily with one another and the ability to include attachments
- Sends automatic email alerts to users for when they receive a message or have any membership notifications
